At Premier Pediatrics of Houston, we feel strongly that vaccinating children on schedule with currently available vaccines is absolutely the right thing to do for all children and young adults. However, should you have doubts, please discuss these with us in advance of your visit, we may slightly alter the schedule. If you absolutely refuse to vaccinate your child, we ask that you seek care with a provider who shares your views.
Here at Premier Pediatrics of
Houston, we follow the immunization guidelines recommended by the
American Academy of Pediatrics. We are committed to quality health
care and we believe strongly in the safety, effectiveness, and the
importance of these vaccines. Please note that this schedule is
subject to change when the American Academy of Pediatrics updates
its recommendations. We will inform you of these changes as they
occur.

Influenza vaccine to begin yearly at 6 months of age
Ibuprofen and acetaminophen are over-the-counter pain and fever reducers. Fever is the body’s normal response to infections and is usually not a cause for concern. Treating your child's fever with acetaminophen or ibuprofen can make your child more comfortable but will not make the infection go away any faster.
